Hey B Belly Babes! As the summer dwindles and the school year approaches I wanted to help out those in our community that are teachers with dressing stylish but comfortable! One thing I know for sure is that teachers are UNDERPAID!!!! So I put together a capsule of only a few items that are budget friendly (and linked multiple alternatives in different price ranges) so you can mix and match your items, look fresh and new every day, and keep more money in your pocket and stress off your back when thinking of what to wear in the morning!
The Dress Code Conundrum: Polling Our Community
I know, I know, dress codes can sometimes feel like navigating a fashion labyrinth. To understand the challenges better, I reached out to our incredible teacher community and boy, did they have stories to share! From schools that welcome jeans with open arms to those that insist on more formal attire, it's a patchwork quilt of policies out there.
So, to keep it safe and inclusive for everyone, I decided to avoid jeans in this capsule wardrobe, while still keeping it on the casual side. Of course, you can easily swap in black pants for jeans and a blazer for denim jackets based on your school's unique guidelines.
